R&D Centre

Simta Astrix’s R&D Centre is a high-tech facility dedicated to innovation and product development, with state-of-the-art equipment and a skilled team of experts driving advanced research activities. Quality is our high priority and is stringently followed as per EN 12608-1-2016 standards. Our lead-free uPVC profiles are an assurance to a greener future.

Simta Astrix Laboratory Equipments

Equipped with a Universal Testing Machine for strength tests, an Impact Tester for profile strength, and a Falling Mass Tester with a subzero unit for low-temperature assessments. We also use a Hot Air Oven to examine thermal properties, a Density Tester for density measurement, and a Filler Content Test to ensure uPVC compound quality. 

Our Vicat Softening Temperature Test assesses thermal properties, a Hardness Tester measures rigidity, while a Spectrophotometer and Gloss Meter analyses colour and surface finish. These tools drive innovation and product quality for our customers.

Raw Material Sourcing

Simta Astrix excels in sourcing top-quality raw materials for its uPVC windows and doors. We import these materials from globally recognised suppliers such as Kaneka, LG, and DuPont. Our selection includes ethylene-based PVC resin and special encapsulation silicate-coated fillers, ensuring exceptional attributes like thermal stability and mechanical strength. 

We also procure approved-grade chemicals from Fortune 500 companies worldwide, and our exterior-grade foils come from reputable German brands like Renolit. This commitment to sourcing excellence defines our reputation for delivering the highest standards in uPVC products.

Weighing and Batching

Our machinery incorporates precision weighing systems, enabling us to accurately measure and control various critical parameters. This meticulous control over quantities such as weight, dimensions, and materials guarantees that our products consistently meet the highest quality standards.

In addition to precision weighing, our advanced PLC/SCADA systems provide real-time control and monitoring of our manufacturing processes. This technology allows us to adhere strictly to industry regulations and standards, ensuring that our uPVC windows and doors are produced error-free and fully compliant with all required specifications.

Extrusion Lines

At Simta Astrix, we have incorporated advanced European-made extruder machines into our production processes. These 15 state-of-the-art extruder machines are pivotal in our commitment to delivering high-quality products.

We can create uPVC profiles with exceptional precision and consistency with these European extruders. Whether a window frame’s intricate design or a door profile’s durability, our extruder machines are at the forefront of producing top-notch, reliable products.

Profile Lamination Facility

Our Profile Lamination Facility is a prime example of our commitment to excellence. At the heart of this facility lies advanced hot melt PUR (Polyurethane Reactive) technology, dedicated to wrapping profiles with precision and finesse, specifically tailored for interior applications.

This advanced process enables us to seamlessly encapsulate profiles with a foil of uncompromising quality, resulting in a flawless finish that enhances aesthetics and durability. Whether it’s a door frame or window casing, our Profile Lamination Facility ensures that every product receives the utmost attention to detail.
